We know visiting a new church can feel a little intimidating. We’ll do our best to make you feel right at home! We are a diverse and loving Christ-centered community where all generations can thrive. Our mission is to Love God, Make Disciples, and Impact the World. Click on the images above to learn what you can expect on your first Sunday at Vineyard Florence (VF). If you are ready to check it our for yourself on a Sunday you can fill out the “Plan A Visit” form and let us know you are coming. Then when you arrive head to our Guest Table in front of the woodwall in the lobby and our host team will be happy to greet you and help you get settled in.
What to Expect
We want you to feel a sense of home when you’re here, whether as a first-time guest or a long-time member. Vineyard Florence is a place where the doors are always open, inviting you in to be part of a warm community. We are ready to meet you right where you are, so welcome! Our Sunday morning service is at 10:30am. We always have fresh coffee available in the lobby for you to enjoy before, during, and after service. We typically begin our time together with the worship team leading the church in song. We invite you to sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message from the Bible. In total, our services are about 75 - 90 minutes in length. If you have any questions or want to know more about our weekend gatherings you can contact Amber at amber.brown@vineyardflorence.church.
FOR KIDS
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, and at Vineyard Kids, we make this a priority. Kid’s Ministry is available during every service for kids from zero to 5th grade. Please use the check-in computers at the Welcome Desk in the lobby to print out name tags and parent/guardian number tags. If you’re new, someone will be there to help you out! After checking in kids can head straight to their age-appropriate room for service. The safety of your child is a priority for our team. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Vineyard Kids program the first time you visit. All Vineyard Kids volunteers go through background checks and are well-trained to care for your kids. If you have any questions or want to know more about Vineyard Kids, please reach out to us at hanna.mcguire@vineyardflorence.church.
FOR STUDENTS
During all weekend services, students from 6th-12th grade participate with their parents/guardians for our regular worship and the message. Our student-specific ministry gathering is Sunday evenings at 6:00pm at the church. Students come to hang out, play games, share a meal, and grow closer to Jesus together. If you have any questions or want to know more about our student ministry contact Amanda at amanda.price@vineyardflorence.church
