What If…

What if…every need in our building was met—every repair finished, every dollar of debt paid off?What if we were free to dream even bigger? 

 Here at Vineyard Florence, we are incredibly thankful for the physical space we gather in. It’s where lives are changed, relationships are built, and God moves in powerful ways. But we believe God is inviting us into something more. The What If campaign is our bold step of faith in 2025. Our goal is simple: to raise $400,000 to pay off our building and complete much-needed repairs. Why? Because we know that every dollar freed up from our mortgage is a dollar that could be poured back into our community, our ministries, reaching the lost, planting churches, and dreaming even bigger. This campaign is more than a fundraiser. It’s an invitation to dream with us. To imagine a church fully resourced and ready to respond to wherever God leads.

Our two Main Goals for the What if campaign

Be a debt free church - Imagine the freedom and impact of a debt-free church! By eliminating debt, we can dedicate more resources to ministry, outreach, and Kingdom work—empowering us to expand our impact in the community and beyond. A debt-free church means stepping boldly into the future, unencumbered and fully equipped to say “yes” to God’s call at every turn.

Updating Our Building - Our building is more than just a space—it’s a home for worship, connection, and transformation. By addressing critical maintenance and repairs, we can create an inviting, safe, and vibrant space where lives are changed, families grow, and the community gathers. This building has faithfully served our church for 25 years and we want to make the needed updates to help us to flourish years to come!

How can you GIVE?

Online or Text - CLICK HERE to go directly to our giving platform. Once there, enter your amount and select “Mortgage principal What If Payoff” from the dropdown menu. You can also give via text by texting the amount you’d like to give followed by the words “What If” to 84321. For example, text “100 What If” to 84321 make a $100 donation to the campaign.

In person- Use an offering envelope found in the seat back of our chairs, by the costly generosity boxes, or at the What if display in the lobby. On the envelope, write in “What If Fund” and the amount you’re giving. Drop it in one of our Costly Generosity boxes located at the back of the sanctuary or place it in a designated box with the What if lobby display.

Want to keep up with our progress toward the $400,000 What If goal? Stop by the display in the lobby! This handcrafted piece—designed and built by Vineyard Florence members Carey Daugherty and Jeff Fasick—beautifully reflects our heart for generosity, faith, and community impact.

Our goal is simple and visual: fill the box. Every time $550 is given—whether by one family or many—we’ll add one ping-pong ball to the display. No gift is too small, because we believe that together, we can reach this incredible goal. To reach our $400,000 goal, we’ll need 727 ping-pong balls—each one representing a gift of $550. Every ball fills the box and moves us one step closer to the vision! Each ball represents faithfulness, sacrifice, and kingdom impact. Every one is a visual reminder of what happens when we come together to pay off our building, make essential repairs, and release resources to reach the lost, serve our city, and plant churches.
