Ryan is a our lead pastor, a father, and man of God. He married his wife Karla in 1999, they have four amazing kids ranging from college to Elementary School and a lazy but adorable English Bulldog, named Rico. Ryan joined The Vineyard Florence in April 2021 but has been connected to the Vineyard Movement since 1993. His role in the church is to be the lead pastor, servant, and disciple-maker. In his words Ryan’s heart for this ministry is “I want to see 1,000,000 people come to Jesus before I die! I am not called to do this alone. I want to be a catalyst in creating a culture of disciple-making movements, missional living, and a place where passion for Jesus is our heart and practice. I am praying for 100’s of new church plants, house churches, and ministries to emerge out of The Vineyard Florence in the years ahead.” Ryan is a man of endless movie quotes, math equations, and superman knowledge. He is a master of the smoked meats and though it may be hard to believe now he used to have a head full of long black hair (even dreads) at one point. Be sure to say hey when you see Ryan around!

Jon has been married to his wife Michelle for over 30 years and they have four kids who are all grown now! He reconnected with Jesus at a Vineyard on the west coast in 1986 after a long wander from the faith of his childhood. Then in 1995 he began working at Vineyard Florence with founding pastor Barry Long. Since then he was a part of a Vineyard church plant in 2004 and worked many jobs along with that. He retired in August of 2020 and now freelance for the King and Kingdom which includes serving on our board. He is excited about the church becoming obedient and making disciples. One of Jon’s passions in this season is Ultimate Frisbee, if you hear him yell “heads up” be prepared to catch a disc.

Jeff is a family man, having been happily married to his wife Tammy for 23 years. Together, they have three lovely daughters: Nicole, Emily, and Jenelle. Jeff is also a proud grandfather to Zoey and Bryson, the cherished grandchildren of Nicole.

With an impressive spiritual journey spanning nearly six decades, Jeff has been a faithful follower of Jesus for about 59 years. He's been an active participant in lay ministry for over 40 years, and a part of out VF family since 2022, bodying his commitment to serving others within the church community.

Outside of his church involvement, Jeff is a successful entrepreneur, managing two businesses in the fields of home remodeling and operating a Bed and Breakfast. Despite his busy schedule, Jeff finds time to lead a House group and facilitate Monday evening prayer meetings, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth among his family and friends.

His passion lies in cultivating a culture of discipleship within the church, where believers are empowered to be salt and light in every sphere of society. He envisions a church that goes beyond its four walls, actively multiplying disciples and impacting the world with the love of Christ. In his free time, Jeff indulges in his love for crafting, enjoying traveling, expressing his creativity through painting on canvas, and capturing scenic beauty through photography. He's even had the experience of running his own photography studio in the past.

Jeff considers it a privilege to serve as an elder within the church community, and he remains humbled and honored to contribute to its growth and development.
